APPLICATION IN PAINTS

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Should be used in transparent lacquer system.
  • No milling to be done.
  • Can be used with transparent pigment / dyestuff etc.,
  • Can be used in solvent / water based system.
  • Prewetting Iriodin pigments gives better dispersability.
     

APPLICATION IN NATURAL RUBBER LATEX:

  • Only Finer particle size pigment can be used for manufacturing latex
  • Usage levels 1 – 2 % on the weight of latex.
  • Prewetting of Iriodin pigments gives better dispersability.
  • Ball milling should not be done and Iriodin pigments to be added in the final stage only.
